ऊरोरजनयत् पुत्रान् षडाग्नेयी महाबलान् / अङ्गं सुमनसं स्वातिं क्रतुमङ्गिरसं शिवम्

No specific yoga practice is taught in this verse; it functions as a lineage record. In the Kurma Purana, yogic instruction appears more explicitly in later doctrinal sections (notably the Upari-bhaga’s Ishvara Gita and Shaiva-Vaishnava synthesis).
Indirectly: the name “Śiva” appears here as a progeny-name within a creation genealogy, not as a theological identification. The Kurma Purana’s explicit Shiva–Vishnu unity is articulated elsewhere, while this verse contributes to the shared cosmological framework in which both traditions situate their teachings.
