नाप्सु स्नायान्न कुप्येत न सम्भाषेत दुर्जनै: । न वसीताधौतवास: स्रजं च विधृतां क्वचित् ॥ ४८ ॥
nāpsu snāyān na kupyeta na sambhāṣeta durjanaiḥ na vasītādhauta-vāsaḥ srajaṁ ca vidhṛtāṁ kvacit
શ્રીકશ્યપ બોલ્યા—હે ભદ્રે, સ્નાન કરતી વખતે પાણીમાં અંદર સુધી ન ઉતર. ક્રોધ ન કર. દુર્જનો સાથે વાતચીત ન કર અને સંગ ન કર. બરાબર ન ધોયેલા કપડાં ન પહેર, અને પહેલેથી પહેરેલી માળા ક્યારેય ન ધારણ કર।
