कृतद्युतिरजानन्ती सपत्नीनामघं महत् । सुप्त एवेति सञ्चिन्त्य निरीक्ष्य व्यचरद्गृहे ॥ ४४ ॥
kṛtadyutir ajānantī sapatnīnām aghaṁ mahat supta eveti sañcintya nirīkṣya vyacarad gṛhe
સપત્નીઓના મહાપાપથી અજાણ કૃતદ્યુતિએ ‘પુત્ર ઘેરી ઊંઘમાં છે’ એમ વિચારી તેને જોઈને પણ ઘરમાં ફરતી રહી; તે મર્યો છે એ તેને ખબર પડી નહીં।
