Parīkṣit’s Inquiry into Vṛtrāsura’s Bhakti and the Beginning of Citraketu’s Trial
चित्रकेतोरतिप्रीतिर्यथा दारे प्रजावति । न तथान्येषु सञ्जज्ञे बालं लालयतोऽन्वहम् ॥ ३८ ॥
citraketor atiprītir yathā dāre prajāvati na tathānyeṣu sañjajñe bālaṁ lālayato ’nvaham
રાજા ચિત્રકેતુ રોજ બાળકને ખૂબ જ કાળજીથી લાડ કરતો ગયો તેમ તેમ સંતાનવતી રાણી કૃતદ્યુતિ પ્રત્યે તેની અતિપ્રીતિ વધી; પરંતુ નિઃસંતાન અન્ય પત્નીઓ પ્રત્યે એવો સ્નેહ રહ્યો નહીં।
