Varṣa-devatā Worship in Jambūdvīpa: Hayagrīva/Hayaśīrṣa, Nṛsiṁha, Kāmadeva (Pradyumna), Matsya, Kūrma, and Varāha
उत्तरेषु च कुरुषु भगवान् यज्ञपुरुष: कृतवराहरूप आस्ते तं तु देवी हैषा भू: सह कुरुभिरस्खलितभक्तियोगेनोपधावति इमां च परमामुपनिषदमावर्तयति ॥ ३४ ॥
uttareṣu ca kuruṣu bhagavān yajña-puruṣaḥ kṛta-varāha-rūpa āste taṁ tu devī haiṣā bhūḥ saha kurubhir askhalita-bhakti-yogenopadhāvati imāṁ ca paramām upaniṣadam āvartayati.
શુકદેવ ગોસ્વામી બોલ્યા—હે રાજન! જંબૂદ્વીપના ઉત્તર ભાગમાં ઉત્તરકુરુ-વર્ષમાં યજ્ઞપુરુષ ભગવાન વરાહરૂપ ધારણ કરીને વસે છે. ત્યાં દેવી ભૂમિ અને કુરુઓ સહિતના અન્ય નિવાસીઓ અખંડ ભક્તિયોગથી તેમની ઉપાસના કરે છે અને આ પરમ ઉપનિષદ્ મંત્રને વારંવાર જપે છે.
