दैवाधीने शरीरेऽस्मिन् गुणभाव्येन कर्मणा । वर्तमानोऽबुधस्तत्र कर्तास्मीति निबध्यते ॥ १० ॥
daivādhīne śarīre ’smin guṇa-bhāvyena karmaṇā vartamāno ’budhas tatra kartāsmīti nibadhyate
પૂર્વકર્મફળથી રચાયેલ, દૈવાધીન આ શરીરમાં રહેલો અજ્ઞાની અહંકારમોહથી “હું જ કર્તા છું” એમ માને છે; હકીકતમાં પ્રકૃતિના ગુણોથી થનારા કર્મોથી તે બંધાય છે.
