पुरुषावयवैर्लोका: सपाला: पूर्वकल्पिता: । लोकैरमुष्यावयवा: सपालैरिति शुश्रुम ॥ ११ ॥

Transliteration

puruṣāvayavair lokāḥ sapālāḥ pūrva-kalpitāḥ lokair amuṣyāvayavāḥ sa-pālair iti śuśruma

Translation

હે વિદ્વાન બ્રાહ્મણ! પૂર્વે સમજાવાયું કે સર્વ લોકો પોતાના-પોતાના પાલકો સહિત વિરાટ્-પુરુષના વિશાળ દેહના વિવિધ અવયવોમાં સ્થિત છે. મેં પણ સાંભળ્યું છે કે લોકસમૂહો તે જ દેહમાં માનવામાં આવે છે; પરંતુ તેમની યથાર્થ સ્થિતિ શું છે? કૃપા કરીને સમજાવો।
