सुरुचिस्तं समुत्थाप्य पादावनतमर्भकम् । परिष्वज्याह जीवेति बाष्पगद्गदया गिरा ॥ ४६ ॥
surucis taṁ samutthāpya pādāvanatam arbhakam pariṣvajyāha jīveti bāṣpa-gadgadayā girā
ધ્રુવ મહારાજનો નિર્દોષ બાળક તેના ચરણોમાં નમી પડતાં જ, સુરુચિએ તરત તેને ઊભો કર્યો, બંને હાથોથી આલિંગન આપ્યું અને ભાવના-આંસુઓથી ગદગદ વાણીમાં આશીર્વાદ આપ્યો—“બેટા, દીર્ઘાયુ થા, જીવી રહે!”
