Prelude to Vāmana
सोत्थाय बद्धाञ्जलिरीडितुं स्थिता नोत्सेह आनन्दजलाकुलेक्षणा । बभूव तूष्णीं पुलकाकुलाकृति- स्तद्दर्शनात्युत्सवगात्रवेपथु: ॥ ६ ॥
sotthāya baddhāñjalir īḍituṁ sthitā notseha ānanda-jalākulekṣaṇā babhūva tūṣṇīṁ pulakākulākṛtis tad-darśanātyutsava-gātra-vepathuḥ
અદિતિ ઊભી થઈ હાથ જોડીને સ્તુતિ કરવા લાગી, પરંતુ આનંદાશ્રુથી ભરેલી આંખો હોવાથી તે પ્રાર્થના કરી શકી નહીં. ભગવાનના સాక్షાત્ દર્શનથી તેના શરીરે રોમાંચ થયો; તે મૌન રહી અને પરમાનંદના ઉત્સવથી દેહ કંપવા લાગ્યો।
