अष्ट जाता भूता प्रथमजर्तस्याष्टेन्द्रर्त्विजो दैव्या ये। अष्टयोनिरदितिरष्टपुत्राष्टमीं रात्रिमभि हव्यमेति

IAST Transliteration

aṣṭá jātā́ bhūtā́ prathamajártasyāṣṭéndrartvíjo daivyā́ yé | aṣṭáyonir áditiḥ aṣṭáputrāṣṭamī́ṃ rā́trim abhí havyám eti ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Eight beings are born of the first begetting; eight are Indra’s divine officiants who (serve). Eight-wombed is Aditi, eight-soned: unto the eighth Night she comes, toward the oblation.

Translation

પ્રથમ જનનમાંથી આઠ જાત/ભૂત જન્મે છે; આઠ ઇન્દ્રના દૈવી ઋત્વિજ (યજ્ઞ-સેવક) છે, જે સેવા કરે છે. અદિતિ આઠ-યોનિ છે, આઠ-પુત્રવતી છે; આઠમી રાત્રિ તરફ તે હવ્ય (આહુતિ) તરફ અભિમુખ થઈ આવે છે.
