Sukta 81
आ पप्राथ महिना वृष्ण्या वृषन् विश्वा शविष्ठ शवसा । अस्मां अव मघवन् गोमति व्रजे वज्रिं चित्राभिरूतिभिः
ā́ paprātha mahinā́ vŕ̥ṣṇyā vr̥ṣán víśvā śaviṣṭha śávāsā | asmā́n áva maghavan gómati vrajé vajrin citrā́bhir ūtíbhiḥ ||
Thou hast spread forth by greatness, by manly vigor, O Bull—thou most mighty, with strength, over all. Protect us, O bounteous one, in the cattle-rich stall, O Vajrin, with thy wondrous aids.
હે વૃષભ, હે સર્વથી શક્તિશાળી! તું મહિમાથી અને પુરૂષાર્થભર્યા બળથી સર્વત્ર વ્યાપી ગયો છે. હે મઘવન! ગાયો ભરપૂર વાડામાં અમારું રક્ષણ કર; હે વજ્રધારી! તારી ચિત્રવત્ (અદ્ભુત) સહાયોથી અમને આશ્રય આપ.
