Sukta 35
अस्मा इदु प्र भरा तूतुजानो वृत्राय वज्रमीशानः कियेधाः । गोर्न पर्व वि रदा तिरश्चेष्यन्नर्णांस्यपां चरध्यै
asmā́ id u prá bharā tútujāno vṛtrā́ya vájram ī́śānaḥ kiyedhā́ḥ | gór na párva ví radā tiraścéṣyann árṇāṃsy apā́ṃ carádhyai
Bring thou forth for him—yea, for him—thy bolt, impetuous, lordly, the restrainer, against Vṛtra. Cleave thou apart, as one cleaveth a cow’s joint, the floods of waters, moving athwart, that they may course onward.
હે (ઇન્દ્ર), તૂતુજાન (વેગવાન) અને ઈશાન (સર્વાધિપ) બની, વૃત્ર સામે—તેને જ—તારો વજ્ર, નિયંત્રક, આગળ લાવ. ગાયના સાંધા જેમ ચીરી નાખે તેમ, આડું વહેતી જળધારાઓને વિભાજિત કર; જેથી અપાં (જળ)નાં પ્રવાહો આગળ દોડી શકે.
