अयं वां घर्मो अश्विना स्तोमेन परि षिच्यते । अयं सोमो मधुमान्वाजिनीवसू येन वृत्रं चिकेतथः

IAST Transliteration

ayáṁ vāṁ gharmó aśvinā stómena pári sicyate | ayáṁ sómo mádhumān vājīnīvasū yéna vṛtráṁ cikétathaḥ

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

This Gharma, O Aśvins, for you is sprinkled round with laud; This Soma, honey-rich, O ye of prize-winning wealth, whereby ye marked (and mastered) Vṛtra.

Translation

હે અશ્વિનો, આ ઘર્મ તમારાં માટે સ્તુતિથી સર્વત્ર છાંટવામાં આવે છે. હે વાજિનીવસુ (વિજય-ધનવાળા), આ મધુમય સોમ તે છે, જેના દ્વારા તમે વૃત્રને ઓળખ્યો અને વશમાં કર્યો.
