Sukta 137
त्वं ह त्यत्सप्तभ्यो जायमानोऽशत्रुभ्यो अभवः शत्रुरिन्द्र । गूल्हे द्यावापृथिवी अन्वविन्दो विभुमद्भ्यो भुवनेभ्यो रणं धाः
tváṁ ha tyát saptábhyo jā́yamāno ’śatrúbhyo abhavaḥ śátrur indra | gūḷhé dyā́vā-pṛthivī́ ánv-avindo vibhúmadbhyo bhúvanebhyo ráṇaṁ dhāḥ ||
Thou, even from thy birth for the Seven, wast foe to foes and friend to the unhostile, O Indra. Hidden, Heaven and Earth thou didst track and find; from the wide worlds thou didst set battle in place.
હે ઇન્દ્ર, તું જન્મથી જ ‘સાત’ માટે (સપ્તભ્યઃ) શત્રુઓનો શત્રુ અને અશત્રુઓનો મિત્ર બન્યો. ગુપ્ત રહેલા દ્યાવા-પૃથિવીને તું અનુસરી શોધી કાઢી; વિશાળ ભુવનોમાંથી તું રણ (યુદ્ધ)ને સ્થિર કર્યો.
