महानग्नी महानग्नं धावन्तमनु धावति । इमास्तदस्य गा रक्ष यभ मामद्ध्यौदनम्

IAST Transliteration

mahā́nagnī mahā́nagnaṃ dhā́vantaṃ ánu dhāvati | imā́s tád asyá gā́ rakṣa yábha mā́m addhy-ā́udanam ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Mahānagnī runs after Mahānagna as he runs. Do thou protect these cows from that of his; O Yabha, eat the boiled rice for me.

Translation

મહાનગ્ની, મહાનગ્ન દોડે તેમ તેની પાછળ દોડે છે. તેની તરફથી આવતી (હાનિ)થી આ ગાયોનું રક્ષણ કર; હે યભ, મારા માટે પકવેલ ભાત (ઔદન) ખા.
