स्वादोरित्था विषूवतो मध्वः पिबन्ति गौर्यः । या इन्द्रेण सयावरीर्वृष्णा मदन्ति शोभसे वस्वीरनु स्वराज्यम्

IAST Transliteration

svādóḥ itthā́ viṣūváto mádhvaḥ pibanti gáuryáḥ | yā́ índreṇa sayā́varīr vṛ́ṣṇā mádanti śóbhase vásvīr ánu svārā́jyam ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Thus, at the turning-point, the tawny ones drink of the honey-sweet draught; they who, moving in one course with Indra, with the Bull, exult for splendour—bounteous—following after sovereign power.

Translation

આ રીતે વિષૂવત (મધ્યબિંદુ/વળાંક) સમયે ગૌર્યઃ (તામ્રવર્ણી) મધુ-મીઠા પેયને પીવે છે. જે ઇન્દ્ર સાથે એક જ માર્ગે ચાલે છે, વૃષભ (બળવાન) સાથે તેજ માટે આનંદિત થાય છે—વસ્વી (સમૃદ્ધિ આપનારી) બની—સ્વરાજ્ય (સ્વાધીન સત્તા)ને અનુસરે છે.
