Sukta 107
चित्रं देवानां केतुरनीकं ज्योतिष्मान् प्रदिशः सूर्य उद्यन्। दिवाकरोऽति द्युम्नैस्तमांसि विश्वातारीद् दुरितानि शुक्रः
citráṃ devā́nāṃ ketúr anī́kaṃ jyótiṣmān pradíśaḥ sū́rya udyán | divākaró’ti dyumnáis tamā́ṃsi víśvā́tārīd duritā́ni śukráḥ ||
Wondrous, the Gods’ bright banner and shining front, the Sun ariseth, light-possessing, filling the quarters. The Day-maker, with splendors passing over all darknesses, hath crossed beyond all evil ways—pure and radiant.
દેવતાઓનો અદભુત ધ્વજ અને તેજસ્વી અગ્રભાગ—પ્રકાશમય સૂર્ય ઉદય થાય છે; પ્રકાશથી યુક્ત થઈ દિશાઓને ભરિ દે છે. દિવસ કરનાર તે શુક્ર (શુદ્ધ, તેજસ્વી) પોતાના દ્યુમ્નો/વૈભવોથી સર્વ અંધકારોને વટાવી, સર્વ દુરીતાઓ (અપશકુન, પાપમાર્ગો)ને પાર કરી ગયો છે.
