Sukta 42
अंहोमुचं वृषभं यज्ञियानां विराजन्तं प्रथममध्वराणाम्। अपां नपातमश्विना हुवे धिय इन्द्रियेण त इन्द्रियं दत्तमोजः
aṃhómúcaṃ vr̥ṣabháṃ yajñíyānāṃ virā́jantaṃ prathamám adhvarā́ṇām | apā́ṃ napā́tam aśvínā huvè dhíya indriyéṇa te indriyáṃ dattám ójaḥ
The releaser from anguish, the Bull of the worshipful, shining, the first of sacrifices; the Child of the Waters—O Aśvins, him I invoke with prayers. By your vital power grant ye vital power—bestow might.
અંહો (ક્લેશ)માંથી મુક્ત કરનાર, યજ્ઞયોગ્ય દેવતાઓનો વૃષભ, તેજસ્વી, અધ્વર (યજ્ઞ)ોમાં પ્રથમ—અપાં નપાત્; હે અશ્વિનો, તેને હું ધી (પ્રાર્થના/બુદ્ધિ) વડે આહ્વાન કરું છું. તમારા ઇન્દ્રિયબળથી અમને ઇન્દ્રિયબળ આપો; ઓજ (શક્તિ) દાન કરો.
