Sukta 4
स्वमेतदच्छायन्ति यद् वशां ब्राह्मणा अभि। यथैनानन्यस्मिन् जिनीयादेवास्या निरोधनम्
svám etád ácchāyanti yád vaśā́ṃ brāhmaṇā́ abhí | yáthainām anyásmin ná jinīyā́d evā́syā nirodhánam
They guard this as their own, in that the Brahmans have power over the Vaśā; so that none may win her away unto another—this, verily, is her restraint.
આને તેઓ પોતાનું માનીને રક્ષે છે, કારણ કે વશા ઉપર બ્રાહ્મણોનો અધિકાર છે; જેથી કોઈ તેને બીજા (અધિકાર) તરફ જીતીને લઈ ન જાય—આ જ, નિશ્ચયે, તેનું નિરોધન (બંધન/રક્ષણ) છે.
