तन्वं स्वर्गो बहुधा वि चक्रे यथा विद आत्मन्नन्यवर्णाम्। अपाजैत् कृष्णां रुशतीं पुनानो या लोहिनी तां ते अग्नौ जुहोमि

IAST Transliteration

tanvàṃ svargó bahudhā́ ví cakre yáthā vid átmann anyávārṇām | apā́jait kṛṣṇā́ṃ ruśátīṃ punāná yā́ lóhinī tā́ṃ te agnáu juhomi ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

The heavenly Power hath fashioned the body manifoldly, even as the wise discern within the self a changed hue. It hath driven off the black, while purifying it into shining brightness: that Red One—her I offer for thee in Agni.

Translation

સ્વર્ગીય શક્તિએ દેહને અનેક રીતે રચ્યો છે, જેમ વિદ્વાન આત્મામાં અન્ય વર્ણ (રંગ)ને ઓળખે છે. તેણે કાળાશને દૂર કરી, શુદ્ધ કરતાં તેને તેજસ્વી ઉજાસમાં ફેરવી. તે લોહિની (લાલ) શક્તિને હું તારા માટે અગ્નિમાં જુહોમિ (આહુતિરૂપે અર્પણ કરું છું).
