Sukta 3
यं वां पिता पचति यं च माता रिप्रान्निर्मुक्त्यै शमलाच्च वाचः । स ओदनः शतधारः स्वर्ग उभे व्याऽप नभसी महित्वा
yáṁ vā́ṁ pitā́ pácati yáṁ ca mātā́ riprā́n nirmúktyai śámalāc ca vā́caḥ | sá odanáḥ śatádhāraḥ svargá ubhé vy-ā́pa nábhasī mahitvā́ ||
That which your Father cooketh for you, and that which also your Mother—unto release from blemish and from sin, and from the fault of speech—that porridge, hundred-streamed, heaven-winning, hath with its majesty filled both the firmaments.
જે ઓદન તમારે માટે પિતા રાંધે છે અને જે માતા પણ રાંધે છે—દોષમાંથી મુક્તિ માટે, પાપમાંથી મુક્તિ માટે, અને વાણીના અપરાધથી પણ છૂટકારો માટે—એ ઓદન સો ધારાવાળો, સ્વર્ગ-પ્રાપક, પોતાની મહિમાથી બંને આકાશોને વ્યાપી દે છે.
