पञ्च राज्यानि वीरुधां सोमश्रेष्ठानि ब्रूमः । दर्भो भङ्गो यवः सहस्ते नो मुञ्चन्त्वंहसः

IAST Transliteration

páñca rājyā́ni vīrudhā́ṃ sómaśreṣṭhāni brū́maḥ | darbho bhaṅgó yávaḥ sáha té no muñcántv áṃhasaḥ ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Five sovereignties of plants we name, most excellent, Soma-best. Darbha, Bhaṅga, Barley together—let these for us unloose from anguish and from sin.

Translation

વીરుధો (ઔષધિઓ)નાં પાંચ રાજ્યો—સોમ-શ્રેષ્ઠ, અતિ ઉત્તમ—અમે નામે કહીએ છીએ: દર્ભ, ભઙ્ગ, યવ વગેરે; એ બધા મળીને અમને અંહસ (કષ્ટ) અને પાપમાંથી મુક્ત કરે.
