આ વિભાગ મુખ્યત્વે સંક્રમણ-ચિહ્નરૂપ છે; વ્રતખંડમાં તિથિ-વ્રતો અંગે ચાલેલી પૂર્વ ઉપદેશ-શ્રેણીનું અહીં સમાપન દર્શાવે છે. કોલોફનથી સ્પષ્ટ થાય છે કે ચંદ્રતિથિઓને ધર્માનુષ્ઠાનના કાળ-નિર્દેશાંક તરીકે રાખીને રચાયેલ કૅલેન્ડરી શિસ્ત-પ્રણાલી પૂર્ણ થઈ. તિથિચક્ર અહીં પૂર્ણ કરીને સાધકને ચંદ્રગણનાથી સૂર્ય/વારગણના તરફ આગળ વધવા તૈયાર કરવામાં આવે છે, જેથી અગ્નિપુરાણની ભુક્તિ (વ્યવસ્થિત લોકજીવન) અને મુક્તિ (આધ્યાત્મિક લક્ષ્ય) બંનેને ટેકો આપતી વિધિ-પ્રયોગાત્મક પદ્ધતિ અખંડ રહે।
