विषुवे चायने वापि कार्त्तिक्यां तु विशेषतः ॥ यां दत्त्वा मुच्यते पापाच्छशाङ्क इव राहुणा
viṣuve cāyane vāpi kārttikyāṃ tu viśeṣataḥ || yāṃ dattvā mucyate pāpāc chaśāṅka iva rāhuṇā
À l’équinoxe ou au solstice, et tout particulièrement en Kārttikā : en la donnant, on est délivré du péché, comme la lune est délivrée de l’emprise de Rāhu.
