Yogatattva Upanishad — Verse 78

शिष्याश्च स्वस्वकार्येषु प्रार्थयन्ति न संशयः ।

तत्तत्कर्मकरव्यग्रः स्वाभ्यासेऽविस्मृतो भवेत् ॥

अविस्मृत्य गुरोर्वाक्यमभ्यसेत्तदहर्निशम् ।

एवं भवेद्धठावस्था सन्तताभ्यासयोगतः ॥

शिष्याः । च । स्व-स्व-कार्येषु । प्रार्थयन्ति । न । संशयः ।

तत्-तत् । कर्म । कर्तु-व्यग्रः । स्व-अभ्यासे । अविस्मृतः । भवेत् ।

अविस्मृत्य । गुरोः । वाक्यम् । अभ्यसेत् । तत् । अहः-निशम् ।

एवम् । भवेत् । हठ-अवस्था । सन्तत-अभ्यास-योगतः ।

śiṣyāś ca svasvakāryeṣu prārthayanti na saṃśayaḥ |

tattat karmakartavyagraḥ svābhyāse 'vismṛto bhavet ||

avismṛtya guror vākyaṃ abhyaset tad aharniśam |

evaṃ bhaved haṭhāvasthā santatābhyāsayogataḥ ||

Et les disciples, dans leurs tâches respectives, demanderont sans doute (assistance). Tout en étant absorbé par ces diverses actions, on ne doit pas devenir oublieux de sa propre pratique. Sans oublier la parole du guru, qu’on la mette en œuvre jour et nuit. Ainsi naît l’état de Haṭha (haṭhāvasthā) par le yoga fait d’une pratique ininterrompue.

And disciples, in their respective tasks, request (assistance)—there is no doubt. Engaged in doing those various actions, one should not become forgetful of one’s own practice. Not forgetting the guru’s instruction, one should practice it day and night. Thus the state of Haṭha (haṭhāvasthā) arises through yoga consisting of continuous practice.
