vāmāṃsa-dakṣakaṇṭhy-antaṃ brahmasūtraṃ tu savyataḥ | antar-bahir ivātyarthaṃ tattvatantu-samanvitam || nābhyādi-brahmarandhrānta-pramāṇaṃ dhārayet sudhīḥ ||15||

The brahma-sūtra (sacred thread), from the left shoulder up to the right side of the neck, worn from the left (side), as though within and without, exceedingly endowed with the thread of truth— the wise one should wear it in the measure from the navel up to the brahma-randhra (aperture at the crown).

Reinterpretation of yajñopavīta as tattva/jñāna; internalization of Vedic symbols; kuṇḍalinī axis (nābhi to brahmarandhra) as contemplative mapMahavakya: Indirect: the ‘tattva-tantu’ (thread of Reality) points to abiding in Brahman-knowledge implied by ‘प्रज्ञानं ब्रह्म (prajñānaṃ brahma)’ and ‘अहं ब्रह्मास्मि (ahaṃ brahmāsmi)’.AtharvaChandas: Mixed śloka (predominantly Anuṣṭubh; with a longer pāda/compound typical of late metrical Sanskrit)
