Verse 38

Nirvana

मनोनिरोधिनी कन्था। योगेन सदानन्दस्वरूपदर्शनम्। आनन्दभिक्षाशी। महाश्मशानेऽप्यानन्दवने वासः। एकान्तस्थानम्। आनन्दमठम्। उन्मन्यवस्था। शारदा चेष्टा। उन्मनी गतिः। निर्मलगात्रम्। निरालम्बपीठम्। अमृतकल्लोलानन्दक्रिया। पाण्डरगगनम्। महासिद्धान्तः। शमदमादिदिव्यशक्त्याचरणे क्षेत्रपात्रपटुता। परावरसंयोगः। तारकोपदेशाः। अद्वैतसदानन्दो देवता॥३७–४८॥

मनः-निरोधिनी कन्था । योगेन सदा-आनन्द-स्वरूप-दर्शनम् । आनन्द-भिक्षा-आशी । महा-श्मशाने अपि आनन्द-वने वासः । एकान्त-स्थानम् । आनन्द-मठम् । उन्मनी-अवस्था । शारदा चेष्टा । उन्मनी गतिः । निर्मल-गात्रम् । निरालम्ब-पीठम् । अमृत-कल्लोल-आनन्द-क्रिया । पाण्डर-गगनम् । महा-सिद्धान्तः । शम-दम-आदि-दिव्य-शक्ति-आचरणे क्षेत्र-पात्र-पटुता । पर-अवर-संयोगः । तारक-उपदेशाः । अद्वैत-सदा-आनन्दः देवता ।

mano-nirodhinī kanthā | yogena sadānanda-svarūpa-darśanam | ānanda-bhikṣā-āśī | mahāśmaśāne 'py ānanda-vane vāsaḥ | ekānta-sthānam | ānanda-maṭham | unmanī-avasthā | śāradā ceṣṭā | unmanī gatiḥ | nirmala-gātram | nirālamba-pīṭham | amṛta-kallolānanda-kriyā | pāṇḍara-gaganam | mahā-siddhāntaḥ | śama-damādi-divya-śakty-ācaraṇe kṣetra-pātra-paṭutā | parāvara-saṃyogaḥ | tārakopadeśāḥ | advaita-sadānando devatā ||37–48||

Demeurer, même au grand lieu de crémation, dans le bois de la béatitude. Lieu de solitude. Monastère de béatitude. L’état d’unmanī—au-delà du mental. L’activité de Śāradā—Sagesse. Le mouvement d’unmanī. Corps purifié. Siège sans appui. Action bienheureuse comme des vagues d’amṛta, nectar d’immortalité. Le ciel blanc, pur. La grande doctrine. Habileté dans le “champ” et le “vase” : pratique des puissances divines commençant par le calme et la maîtrise de soi. Conjonction du supérieur et de l’inférieur. Enseignements tāraka qui font traverser vers la délivrance. La Divinité est non-duelle, toujours-béatitude.

A cloak that restrains the mind. By yoga, the vision of the form whose nature is perpetual bliss. One who subsists on the alms of bliss. Dwelling, even in the great cremation-ground, in the grove of bliss. A solitary place. A monastery of bliss. The state of unmanī (mind-transcendence). The activity of Śāradā (wisdom). The movement of unmanī. A purified body. A seat without support. The blissful activity of nectar-like waves. The white (pure) sky. The great doctrine. Skill in the field and vessel—i.e., in the practice of divine powers beginning with tranquility and self-control. The conjunction of the higher and the lower. The liberating instructions (tāraka-upadeśa). The deity is non-dual, ever-bliss.
