aham evāsmi siddho 'smi śuddho 'smi paramo 'smy aham | aham asmi somo 'smi nityo 'smi vimalo 'smy aham ||2||

Moi seul suis. Je suis l’Accompli (siddha), parfait. Je suis pur. Je suis le Suprême. Je suis; je suis Soma. Je suis éternel. Je suis sans tache.

I alone am. I am accomplished (perfect). I am pure. I am the Supreme. I am; I am Soma. I am eternal. I am stainless.

Nitya-śuddha-buddha-mukta nature of Ātman; self-luminosity and purity beyond guṇasMahavakya: Supports «अयम् आत्मा ब्रह्म» (Ayam ātmā brahma) by describing the intrinsic perfection and purity of the Self; “aham evāsmi” resonates with non-dual exclusivity (ekam eva advitīyam).YajurKṛṣṇa Yajurveda (later Maitreya-Upaniṣad circulation; associated broadly with Maitrāyaṇīya tradition) ShakhaChandas: Anuṣṭubh-like śloka (post-Vedic)
