सामवेदस्तथा द्यौश्चाहवनीयस्तथैव च । ईश्वरः परमो देवो मकारः परिकीर्तितः ॥६॥

साम-वेदः तथा द्यौः च आहवनीयः तथा एव च । ईश्वरः परमः देवः मकारः परिकीर्तितः ॥६॥

IAST Transliteration

sāmavedas tathā dyauś cāhavanīyas tathaiva ca | īśvaraḥ paramo devo makāraḥ parikīrtitaḥ ||6||

Translation

Le Sāma-Véda, de même que le ciel (dyu), et de même le feu sacrificiel āhavanīya : la syllabe « ma » est proclamée comme le Seigneur, la Divinité suprême.

Academic Translation

The Sāma-veda, and likewise the heaven (dyu), and likewise the āhavanīya (sacrificial fire): the syllable ‘ma’ is declared to be the Lord, the supreme Deity.
