नमो नक्षत्रनाथाय शर्वरीपतये नमः । जैवातृकाय सततं द्विजराजाय वै नमः

namo nakṣatranāthāya śarvarīpataye namaḥ | jaivātṛkāya satataṃ dvijarājāya vai namaḥ

Hommage au Seigneur des constellations; hommage au Maître de la nuit. Sans cesse je me prosterne devant Jaivātṛka, le Donneur de vie, et devant Candra, le «roi des deux-fois-nés», la Lune.
