तस्मादत्र प्रकर्तव्यं माधवे यत्नतो नरैः । स्नानं दानं हरिः पूज्यो ब्राह्मणाश्च विशेषतः । तीर्थे कृतेऽत्र मनुजैः सर्वकामफलप्रदः

Transliteration

tasmādatra prakartavyaṃ mādhave yatnato naraiḥ | snānaṃ dānaṃ hariḥ pūjyo brāhmaṇāśca viśeṣataḥ | tīrthe kṛte'tra manujaiḥ sarvakāmaphalapradaḥ

Translation

C’est pourquoi, au mois de Mādhava (Vaiśākha), les hommes doivent s’appliquer ici à accomplir : le bain sacré et la dāna (aumône) ; Hari doit être adoré, et les brāhmaṇas honorés tout particulièrement. Lorsque ces actes sont accomplis en ce tīrtha, il accorde aux humains le fruit de tous leurs vœux.
