Type: kshetra
Listener: Viṣṇu
Scene: Rudra addresses Viṣṇu face-to-face in a sacred grove near the tīrtha; both stand in equal stature, calm and radiant; attendants (gaṇas and vānaras/garuḍa motifs) remain subdued, emphasizing concord.
The Purāṇic ideal of Hari-Hara unity: devotion offered to one supreme form reaches the other.
Within Vastrāpatha-kṣetra Māhātmya (Prabhāsa), the teaching sanctifies the tīrtha as a place of reconciled devotion.
Viṣṇu-pūjā is affirmed as simultaneously Śiva-pūjā, encouraging non-sectarian worship.
