Gaṇeśvara (leader of Śiva’s gaṇas; contextually Vīrabhadra’s side)
Tirtha: Vastrāpatha-kṣetra
Type: kshetra
Listener: Ṛṣis (frame)
Scene: A fierce gaṇa or Vīrabhadra-like figure proclaims judgment against the arrogant ritualists; the yajña hall trembles, flames flare, and the priests recoil as mantra-authority is invoked as the standard.
Ritual power without reverence for mantra and dharma becomes arrogance, and arrogance invites downfall.
Vastrāpathakṣetra within the Prabhāsa region, presented as a sacred setting where dharma is defended.
No specific rite is prescribed here; the verse stresses accepting mantra as pramāṇa (ritual authority).
