Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 143

दैत्येन सदृशा न स्युर्बलरूपक्षमादिभिः । औदार्यादिगुणैः कृत्वा सन्तत्या चासुराधिकः

daityena sadṛśā na syurbalarūpakṣamādibhiḥ | audāryādiguṇaiḥ kṛtvā santatyā cāsurādhikaḥ

En force, beauté, patience et autres qualités semblables, nul n’égale ce Daitya. Par des vertus telles que la générosité, et par sa lignée aussi, il est même supérieur parmi les Asuras.
