dīpaṃ dadyāddhṛtenaiva tailenāpi ghṛtaṃ vinā | naivedyaṃ vividhaṃ deyaṃ phalaṃ tāṃbūlameva ca

Sincere worship is adaptable—if the ideal offering is unavailable, an appropriate substitute still sustains devotion.
