Narrative voice within the Vastrāpathakṣetra Māhātmya (Sārasvata as overarching narrator; here the sages addressing Viṣṇu)
Tirtha: Vastrāpatha-kṣetra
Type: kshetra
Scene: Viṣṇu stands or sits in calm majesty with a circle of sages; the previously agitated group now softened, hands folded, asking about the time of destined liberation.
Liberation is approached through humble inquiry and receptivity to divine instruction.
The context is the Vastrāpatha Kṣetra within Prabhāsa Khaṇḍa, a sacred region celebrated for spiritual fruition.
No explicit rite is prescribed in this verse; it frames a doctrinal question about the timing of mokṣa.
