अरण्ये निर्जले स्थाने जलांतःपरिपीडितः । शरण्यं शंकरं कृत्वा मनो निश्चलमात्मनः

araṇye nirjale sthāne jalāṃtaḥparipīḍitaḥ | śaraṇyaṃ śaṃkaraṃ kṛtvā mano niścalamātmanaḥ

Dans la forêt, en un lieu sans eau, tourmenté au-dedans par la soif; prenant Śaṅkara pour refuge, qu’il affermisse son esprit afin qu’il ne chancelle pas.
