Transliteration

taṃ dṛṣṭvā pūjayāmāsa śāstradṛṣṭena vartmanā | pratyutthānābhivādābhyāmarghyapādyādibhistathā

Translation

À sa vue, il l’honora selon la voie prescrite par les śāstra : il se leva pour l’accueillir, lui rendit hommage et lui offrit l’arghya, l’eau pour les pieds, ainsi que d’autres rites d’hospitalité.
