न ददासि जलं लिंगे प्रभूतं सुमनोहरम् । पुष्पधूपादिकं वाथ स्तोत्राणि विविधानि च
na dadāsi jalaṃ liṃge prabhūtaṃ sumanoharam | puṣpadhūpādikaṃ vātha stotrāṇi vividhāni ca
« Tu ne verses pas sur le liṅga une eau abondante et suave ; tu n’offres ni fleurs, ni encens, ni autres offrandes, et tu ne récites pas non plus des hymnes variés. »
