purā samabhavadyuddhamumāyāḥ saha gaṃgayā | saubhāgyaṃ prati rājendra tato gaurītyabhāṣata

Ô seigneur des rois, jadis s’éleva un différend entre Umā et Gaṅgā au sujet de la fortune auspicious ; alors Gaurī parla ainsi.
