Lorsque vient le jour de pleine lune de Kārttika, qu’il adore cette marque sacrée avec de l’eau, des fruits variés, ainsi que des parfums, des guirlandes et des onguents.
Brahmā
Tirtha: Pitāmaha-pada (Brahmā’s Footprint) at Arbuda
Type: kshetra
Scene: A moonlit Kārttika Pūrṇimā at a hill-shrine: devotees approach a stone footprint-mark on a pedestal, pouring water, placing fruits, adorning it with fragrant paste and garlands; lamps and incense glow in the cool night.
Seasonal sacred time (Kārttika Pūrṇimā) amplifies tīrtha-worship; devotion expressed through simple offerings is honored.
The worship is directed to the same ‘padam/mahāpada’ established by Brahmā in the Arbuda setting.
Perform pūjā on Kārttika Pūrṇimā with water, fruits, fragrances, garlands, and unguents.
