Transliteration

mahiṣo nāma vikhyātastrailokyādhipatirbalī | danuvaṃśasamudbhūtaḥ kāmarūpasamanvitaḥ

«Il en est un, célèbre sous le nom de Mahiṣa : puissant, se prétendant seigneur des trois mondes ; né de la lignée de Danu et pourvu du pouvoir de prendre forme à volonté.»
