Tirtha: लोकविश्रुत आश्रम (Sarva-tīrtha-sannidhāna āśrama)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Nṛpottama (king)
Scene: Personified Tīrthas (as radiant beings) speak in assembly within a forest hermitage, declaring their collective abiding presence there; the āśrama glows with subtle waters, lotuses, and sacred emblems.
A supremely sanctified place can embody the merit of many tīrthas, encouraging pilgrimage, reverence, and dharmic practice there.
A “loka-viśruta” (world-renowned) āśrama within Arbuda Khaṇḍa is exalted as a convergence-point where all tīrthas are present.
No single rite is prescribed; the verse establishes the site’s exceptional tīrtha-status (tīrtha-sānnidhya), implying heightened merit for acts performed there.
