Pulastya
Tirtha: Kṛṣṇa-tīrtha (implied locus of ‘tatra’)
Type: kund
Listener: A king (rājendra/mahārāja addressed in adjacent verses)
Scene: Pilgrims approaching a sacred waterbody at dawn, performing ācamana and entering the tīrtha with folded hands; a subtle divine presence sanctifies the waters as the text urges ‘sarva-prayatnena’ snāna.
When a tīrtha is praised by scripture, decisive practice—especially sacred bathing—becomes a clear path to lasting spiritual welfare.
Kṛṣṇatīrtha/Kṛṣṇahrada in the Arbuda region.
Perform snāna (ritual bathing) there ‘with all effort’ (sarva-prayatnena), as a recommended observance for śreyas.
