Type: kshetra
Listener: Keśava/Hari (Vāsudeva)
Scene: Śiva’s fiery radiance washes over Keśava, who becomes dark-hued; Śiva proclaims that the name ‘Kṛṣṇa’ will be famed. The scene balances heat (tejas) with benevolent blessing.
Divine encounters transform identity; even a change in ‘name and form’ becomes a vehicle for dharma and devotion in the world.
The Arbuda narrative context; the naming motif anticipates Kṛṣṇatīrtha/Kṛṣṇahrada.
None directly; the verse explains a devotional-theological basis for the celebrated name ‘Kṛṣṇa’.
