Type: kshetra
Listener: Pārvatī (nagātmajā)
Scene: Śiva formally grants sovereignty over all gaṇas to the deity, declaring he will be Gaṇādhipa; gaṇas appear as a retinue acknowledging their new lord; Pārvatī listens.
Spiritual order is divinely instituted: leadership is conferred to uphold harmony among Śiva’s hosts and in the cosmos.
Arbuda-khaṇḍa’s sacred setting (Arbuda/Mount Abu region) where this appointment is recounted.
Implicitly supports the custom of honoring Gaṇādhipa first, though no explicit vrata is stated in this verse.
