पुलस्त्य उवाच । एवं ते निश्चयं कृत्वा सर्वे देवाः सवासवाः । अन्वैषयंस्तथाग्निं ते समंतात्क्षितिमंडले
pulastya uvāca | evaṃ te niścayaṃ kṛtvā sarve devāḥ savāsavāḥ | anvaiṣayaṃstathāgniṃ te samaṃtātkṣitimaṃḍale
Pulastya dit : Ayant ainsi arrêté leur décision, tous les dieux—avec Indra—se mirent à chercher Agni de toutes parts, sur tout le pourtour de la terre.
