ततस्ते सैनिका राजन्हतशेषाः सुदुःखिताः । स्वगृहाणि ययुस्तत्र यथा वृत्तं जने पुरे

tataste sainikā rājanhataśeṣāḥ suduḥkhitāḥ | svagṛhāṇi yayustatra yathā vṛttaṃ jane pure

Alors les soldats qui avaient survécu, ô Roi—accablés d’une profonde douleur—retournèrent à leurs demeures et rapportèrent aux gens de la cité ce qui s’était passé.
