Type: kshetra
Listener: Piṇḍāraka (addressed dvijottama)
Scene: Śiva speaks a boon: the devotee will become a gaṇa at death; the landscape subtly reveals the future tīrtha—water, steps, and a nascent shrine.
Śiva-bhakti culminates in divine proximity—service as a gaṇa and the sanctification of place.
Piṇḍāraka Tīrtha, foretold to be established “here.”
No specific rite is prescribed; the verse records Śiva’s boon and the tīrtha’s establishment.
