Pulastya
Listener: Nṛpasattama (unnamed king)
Scene: Śiva affirms the boon and vanishes; the scene cuts to a battlefield strewn with fallen Dānavas, Śukra arriving to witness the devastation.
Divine boons operate within cosmic order: battles occur, yet higher knowledge can alter outcomes under dharmic permission.
The verse is transitional narrative; the tīrtha praise becomes explicit in the following description of the Mahākuṇḍa.
None; it sets the scene for the application of the granted vidyā.
